Lilongwe man wins K38m in PremierBetLilongwe-based

unemployed man aEdward Chikankheni has waved goodbye to poverty after winning K38million with K80 stake in PremierBet Malawi’s online sports betting.

The 52-year-old, who realised his fortune after he correctly predicted 32 games, says he plans to invest the money in a car spare parts business.

“It feels great to have graduated from a nobody to a somebody in a society. With this fortune, I plan to built a business empire of my own,” he said.

PremierBet Malawi’s central region commercial manager Toufic Sboity said they are happy to have produced the first big sports betting winner since the new football season in Europe kicked off.
